That would depend on the factory the car was produced.

Adelaide Panelvan build - Firewall Black... tags not painted.
Sydney, Melb used Van bodies from another plant.
Brisbane Panalvan Build - Firewall External colour and body tag painted...

... or something like that. Someone else will fill you in. :-)

What about inner guards? Same as firewall??
Also if bodies were from another plant, how did they arrive in Brisbane or Adelaide???

Inner guards were semi-gloss black on all commericials, or slop bucket black depending some opinions.

Black semi-gloss - Dulon Medium Gloss Black 578-4149

I thought Panelvan bodies were only built in Adelaide (Elizabeth) and Brisbane (Acicia Ridge). Although the car could of been assembled in Sydney or Melbourne.

I reckon the blackouts were that Dulon semi gloss also. Tuxedo black looks wrong to me. They were blackouts, not black highlights. That's on HX and HZ. Don't think HQ and j had any blackouts.

Pagewood built their own bodies for 12 months in HQ which includes their Sandman van production.

From memory Elizabeth 3/74 will be all naked tags with body colour firewall and slops black inner guards. I have all the data at home.

HQ-HJ used 578-4149 for blackouts, it is a low gloss black as used on interior plastics. LX used the same black on SS and also on A9X bonnet so I assume HX-HZ was the same.
