Well, yeah, buckskin would do the job for sure. That deep red needs a light colour trim. You can't really get away with black like you can with a bright red paint.

I've seen the photos Sean, not much too see, just piles of parts and a bare blasted and primed shell at this stage.
It is 63C too, so Firethorn with Buckskin.
Nice combo there is one for sale atm on gumtree i think he is chasing $49500 but the colour looks to pink for Firethorn Red

Agreed Gene its looks nothing like Firethorn in any of those pictures looks more like Jenny and Rods van, my first car a LC Torana Coupe had been repainted in Firethorn nice red I like would be quite happy to own a HZ Sandy in that colour, I am sure someone else on this forum is restoring a Firethorn HZ as well cant think of his name he has a LC XU1 as his Avator
