Would you rather no Sandman at all before Holden shuts the doors?

To tell you the truth i really dont care about the newer model cars all plastic rubbish yes i do own 2 fairly new cars
dont care how bigger engines they come with or graphics just not my cup of tea
I hear what youre saying.... but something is better than nothing. And at least there is an acknowledgement of the heritage. Makes you wonder why the VU-VZ canopy vans never got a decal kit though.
I reckon if you went back to 1974 you would have heard 50 year old blokes saying "I don't care how big the stripes are and they have a big V8, I don't like modern cars I just like the Fargo Utes"
Time moves on.
I like the fact they are finally bringing out another Sandman. I just wish they had done it way back when they brought out the VG ute.
The VG ute was dingo ugly bit like the VN commodore

Imho
The cynic in me still sees this as just another mis-aimed attempt to push some metal, like the Lowndes limited edition sedan. Only 233 of those were to be built, yet 4 months after coming on the market, Holden are still advertising them. The Lowndes name won’t sell a ute or wagon, but Sandman will.
Original Sandman was a response to the way people were customising their commercial vans. New Sandman doesn’t have that leg to stand on.
I agree with Alien DNA that something is better than nothing. I just wish it was executed closer to the original intentions of Sandman.
We'll get there shortly.
Doesn't get much closer to the original intentions than a ute with a sticker kit. Ewe't was exactly that.
See if we can get a 'mySandman' discount
