What colour? Ute or station sedan?
What colour? Ute or station sedan?
I remember when GMH built the VS SS utes. Originally touted as limited edition and 300 only. Sold them all pretty easily. Then released another 300 with the 179kW engines. And although this won't happen with these - then made the SS ute a standard thing in VU onwards. Unless of course there is a ute replacement of some kind.
Station means lots of things. Just watch Bill and Ted's bogus adventure and you'll see.
I have mine on order too.
Bill and Ted ??

Is yours the station sedan or ute Flamenco? I guess you got black too?
According to Wikipedia ( which may be wrong) the word station refered to railway station. A station wagon was for moving your luggage from the railway station to your "estate".
Station sedan seemed to get dropped by GMH for station wagon. I reckon the new sandman wagon should be the Sandman Station Sedan though. Makes as much sense.

Just google "station" and "bill and ted". Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkIOuqa6D70
I do remember reading somewhere exactly what wbute says, GMH used to call it a station sedan at some stage and changed to station wagon. The HR sales brochures list "Special Station Sedan" and "Premier Station Sedan". HK brochures also contain "Station Sedan". HG brochures talk about "wagon". So the name change appears to have happened post HK release and prior to HG release.
Yeah the two EK station wagons in the scrub here have Station Sedan in nice chrome font right across the tailgate.
Seems DaveGMH has some good info on hard to get VF's. They must have drafted a lot from smaller dealers to bigger dealers.
We'll see what GMH does. My money is on if they sell well they'll make more. I can see them having excess wagons though and all utes selling easily.
