    Crank Pulley

I have gone to fit up the power steer to my van this afternoon to find that the grooves in the pulleys do not line up. After some research of previous threads I have found that the crank pulley currently fitted is off a early model Commodore as there is a gap between the mating face and the first groove. I have another pulley here that is a three groove unit but I suspect that it has come off a late model Commodore V8 (VN on) as the short motor in the van is actually a VN unit.
So there a two questions I will ask.
1/ Can I use the VN onward crank pulley and have it work with the power steer and alternator?
2/ Is any one able to post a photo of the correct double row pulley?

I'll try and upload a photo of the "other" pulley latter as the website will not let me upload the photos I have taken currently.

    Cheers,

    Anthony

The double row is flush either side if that makes sense. The commodore protrudes towards the front about 5 to 10 mm.
The double is harder to find I guess because if you optioned power steer you probably optioned AC as well.

I will send you the picture of both if you pm me your phone number. I can't get a pic up either.
