Good work mate looks great.
It's a WB with a 308, auto, GTS dash. First I fixed most of the oil leaks, the heads needed replacing, while they were being sorted I decided to paint the blackouts and replace the WB tail lights. image.jpg
I have just put the heads back on, set the timing for 8 degrees....I think it can be more advanced than that. Id ordered some new number plates for it SNM.308, they are the old school type that were used in SA back in the day and suit the van much better than the new plates. image.jpg

Thanks, Ive spent many hours on it so far and are really enjoying it. Still not sure if I will put the stripes on or leave it as is.
Looks like a great cruiser.
What colour is that? ....definately pops in the sun

The colours called True Blue...yes a Ford colour, all done by the previous owner. Surly there's a holden colour very similar he could have uses?!?!
Definately seen worse colours...its all good
Looks great, the blackout treatment does the job well and the early tail lights are a must. I've got a set for mine and was waiting until I did the respray, but I can't wait after seeing yours.
Nice van, ford colour or not.
Question... how do you get it registered without a heater/demister? The engine bay looks huge without the heater box.
Do the black inside the headlight surrounds as well!
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!
