i like how your painter did the black first. i reckon that would be more efficient than masking off the whole car to do blackouts.
i only mentioned the rear parcel because that's how my beater just handed me back my ute. No matter how I tried to tell him, he couldn't get his head around repairing it. He said it's part of the tray. you'll never see it because you'll have a tarp over it. I've given this task to the painter now. Maybe when they are trained the boss says do well what you can see. They spend a lot of time on the top half of the car and proportionately less on the lower half.

Hey Vombil, yea I think what u say is correct about the blackouts & as for the rear it hasn't really bothered me,but I thank you for ur constructive criticism. It's very difficult to trust & find a good beater & painter at the best of times! But over all I'm happy with the outcome..
Why is there engine grime on the underside of the bonnet with a freshly rebuilt engine?
Also agree with WBute, for 40g plus for a modified ute I'd be expecting the tub area to be dent free.
