Bendigo All Holden Day

Hi All.

Thought after the success of the run around the great ocean road, the all holden day at Bendigo on the
22nd of August may be a chance to bring some Sandman vans together again. The link to the site for info is

I will be going with the Ballarat Early Holden Club so if any sandmans want to meet up, post a thread or pm me. Would look great to get a few vans together for the day.

Hi Rob,

We are thinking about going to this event but Jo has a gig on the night before and we probably won't get home till around 3am. Even with the very reasonable start time of 9:30am we might be pushing it.

It will be a hit and miss affair I reckon.

If we are going I will let you know that morning before we leave home.

Hey Rob,

I am in Thailand at the moment and get back during the week, so not sure if I will be up to going either. Hopefully I will. I will let you know closer to the day if it looks like we can do it. I see the entries are closed, can we still rock up on the day?

Ian it would be good to catch up with you and Jo as well.

Have been suffering for the past month OS without any Holdens to look at!!!

Plenty of rice burners here in Thailand though. And utes carrying the whole family in the tray. Very different.

Hi Guys

Give me a yell if you want to rock up and i will save a couple of spots.
judged entrys are closed but you can cruise in on the day.
I will take plenty of snaps and throw on the forum.Hopefully the weather will improve. Dont fancy taking the old girl out in this crap we are getting at the moment.

Jo's gig starts at 8pm and finishes by 11pm so we should be home by 1am. Which means we should be able to crawl out of bed the next day to get to the show. Realy depends on the weather now. Hoping for a sunny day.

Justin....Lucky you being in Thailand. We should scout for another day when everyone is free and go on another run.

Weather forcast for Sunday is looking Ok at this point in time.Fingers crossed.
I like the idea of the Dandenong Ranges tour.
We have the the FX-FJ state titles in Ballarat on the 16th and 17th of October.
this is being run by the Early holden club of Ballarat. On the Sunday they are having a show & shine for all Holdens. This could be another day to get together.They expect over 300 cars for the day.
if anyone is interested i can provide more info.

Back from the trip to Bendigo for the All Holden day there.

Got a bit worried about the fog on the way up as per first pic. Otherwise a great sunny day once there.

A few Sandmans and some other nice machines as well. Just the Sandman pics here.
