    HK Monaro

    Guy's,
I'm strongly thinking about off loading the two door taxi.
I love the HK but I really want to concentrate on the HJ van.
The HK is a 80337 model, non GTS.
it has a GTS dash, guards, boot garnish
I just had all of the visible rust removed and the affected paint areas touched up.
it does still have humidity blisters in some area's.
I just fitted 4 new tyres to it. it does needs all of the brakes done, the pistons in the front calipers are seized.
It has a 186S and powerglide.
There are some more pic's in the "your other ride" section.
    I'd like $29,000
I also have a HK 307 Brougham, T350, 10 bolt, parts car that can be negotiated on.
Car is in Mackay NQ 4740

    Gaz.

Mesmerizing, (I cant afford it, or anywhere close to thinking about it) but that really is a nice looking vehicle. Beautiful. Whats the paint colour?

Curious about wether it devalues the Monaro to fit a V8 to it? I Imagine it should have the usual updates as well. Ie Brakes, Steering , suspension etc.

Most 6cyl HK Monaros or HK GTS's seem to be worth more with a V8 added as long as it is a Chev or LS1/2. Even a totally original Survivor GTS with its 186S and Opel replaced with a Chev and whatever box seem to not drop or even increase in value. In the end no-one wants to drive around with an Opel or a Powerglide, and Saginaws are almost non-existent behind 6cyl in Monaro or GTS.
