Found this on gumtree 253 HZ. Colour looks wrong code says 1954 which I think is a darker green. This looks like Barbados green. Is 12K about right?

Hard to see from the pics, but plate rivets look ball headed? However, that could just be light refracting in the pic, very hard to see. If they are factory they should be conical with a flat top. Not to say that means anything, many owners choose to remove, or re-rivet their plates, (not on my cool list of things to do, but it happens). I'd have a look at that, and check out the chassis number for a match, (and gts loom etc).
Very unusual combination. Malachite isn't all that common in Sandman today, I have 4 of them only. And this one with 11C trim is unique as the others are all 63C trim. Although 11C is pretty uncommon as it is, only 4 of these in total recorded too.
Could be wrong but I think it might belong to someone on here.
might be adams old ute. not sure. imo it's steep for one needing a full rebuild

Interested to know just out of interest, is that correct about it being the last sandman off the Brisbaine production line? He stated this the first advert that he put on Gumtree, that he has a letter from Holden to verify it being the last XX7 off the line. I wonder how the numbers really stack up Byron? Would make it worth the money he is after if it is wouldnt it!?
It's 3/79 so I doubt it's the last XX7. Last year of them maybe. It would make no difference to the value anyway.
my old ute
the sandman ute finished in 3/79... and this is the last dated XX7 ute that I have seen. also its the only malachite ute I have seen and the only malachite with 11C trim that I have seen...
I mentioned this to the new owner
"All correspondence must bear these numbers"
There are later Sandman utes from Acacia Ridge but I only have one later recorded as yet.
