HZ Van Paint code??

Hi.

I have recently brought a HZ van.

I have deciphered all of the plates besides the paint code

I have looked through the Oldholden .com bibles but to no avail.

Been told it may be a 'fleet' color maybe??

Anyway any help appreciated. Thx

PAINT 568 - 4785 Which is solid color But what color. Not listed as factory option??

TRIM 0965 - 67V Which is Tan

Is a 78 HZ

Hmmm, you sure you have all the paint numbers from your tag. Looks to be few missing

YES 100% no missing numbers

I cant even find anything close even if it was missing a number in the oldholden .com paint code bible

I just typed the number in google. Came up as Signal red on a Torana site.

Yes, 568-4785 is Signal Red, which is a fleet colour.

The 0965 part of the TRIM no. confirms this.

I don't have it at hand but 0965 will be a fleet colour, wbute searched it and found signal red which is probably correct. I'll look later and see if I have it noted. 67V is Brown trim if it is a Holden van, Tan if a Kingswood or Sandman van. Send me the ID details if you like and i'll see if there is anything else different about it. Being a fleet I'd guess it is a Holden van, 202 column auto with bench seat? Sometimes they differ but that looks to be the most common HZ fleet van.

Most likely belonged to the Dept. Civil Avation

900 trim codes are all fleet colours

Could I get pics of the tags as I'm always looking to record fleet vehicles?

I have seen pics of your van on M.Vs and i'm sure the fellas here would enjoy seeing a few happy snaps of it and maybe a few words to go with.... good luck with finding some 'Origens' of your van.
