HJ Overlander for sale Shannons Sydney

Hi found this for sale in the upcoming auction at Shannons Sydney on 17 November 2014. Price guide $34-39,000.

Original one owner Overlander (dealer demonstrator when new) HJ 308 T400. Apparantly in unrestored condition. Note black paint outs different or missing from what would be common on Sandman- is that an overlander thing? I expect being individually constructed to a degree that certain changes could be made during construction maybe??

As far as i'm aware vehicles modified were already built and complianced by GMH, nothing body or paint wise on an Overlander ute, van or tonner was changed by Hayward except for a clearance hump in the floor for the transfer case and a hole for the Dana20 sticks. Plus of course the bolt on flares. So anything different blackout or paint-wise has been done after it left the hands of GMH. This one was a Sandman.

So not that far off what you'd expect a 1 owner top spec driveline HJ Sandman in the same condition to fetch.
