Super shots
Can't say I've seen an HX LE with a vinyl roof before..... Was that a factory option?

My friend won best authentic Monaro for his factory HQ 350 coupe, he told me his mate played a gag by putting a for sale sign in the window of the coupe for $4500 with a line through it and SOLD written below apparently it caused a huge commotion my friend was oblivious to it but got a good laugh out of it.
Awesome pics and cars thanks for sharing
Great pics Mick looks like a couple of west aussie boys made the trek over
Talked to the owner and said that's how he bought it,still in original paint.Interesting part of the nationals was there were a few older guys that had their monaros from new

great photos thatotherguy! , was good to meet you and i appreciate you grabbing some parts for me cheers.
there was so many nice rides there but i just cannot get in to the commodore monaros im afraid ,although there was a nice sounding supercharged one at the hillclimb on the sunday which was very competative. the old girls dont handle that well but pull the best skids some vids have already hit youtube
I don't think there was any options on an LE. It was a coupe with the lot. I doubt the vinyl roof was body plant fitted but a dealer could have I guess, but stranger things have happened! The reason I say I doubt it is LE's were all built the same for sale, none were ordered afaik.
