Thanks for the feed back guys. It came with an extra dash frame, GTS instruments and a new surround as well so [hopefully] it is just a matter of sorting out a or the existing wiring harness, sounds easy but I am sure it wont be. I am a sparky by trade but HATE automotive electrics !
Solution : Learn to love auto electrics! Big Grin, cmon whats better than being upside down in the drivers seat with your face in the clutch pedal?
Anyway (lol) look for the brown wire, its closer to a tan sort of light brown colour, comming from approx behind the brake vac servo, if you have that, or the remnants of it, then you already have a GTS loom.
Thanks SLR Dave! It has the std dash fitted so I don't think I will have existing wiring there and will be starting from scratch, will be keeping my eyes peeled on flea bay for a GTS dash harness / loom
Another (soon to be) nice van in Perth!
You guys are getting quite a strong fleet over there.....
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!
Front end on, lights and grill in, so happy with how it looks, I've got 2 different types of connectors for the park / indicator lights though, no biggie but why ??

The HZ grill came with the front end so I will black out the center bit and stick with it until an HX one comes up. Started looking at the electrics under the dash, that's going to be fun for sure. Found out that I have a spare crash pad [ 3/78 ] and it has the extra vent in it and also a box with the louver vents...yaaah. Need to do a rebuild on em though but at least they are there.
SAM_3857.JPG In good company, nearly ready for rego.
