This may help to unravel the mystery? Its from my WB parts manual but i read that these part numbers are maybe the same as HZ?

The only two VDO part munbers used on (early) Holden Oil Pressure Senders are = Part Numbers# 360-004 & 360-005
I think they were a very commen unit used in a lot of different makes of vehicles I remember using one out of an international truck in a wb
Thanks James
The part no.you have given me I have already found .
But they both run 10-180ohm which will make the Hz gauge read backwards.
VDO do list one that is 240-33ohm but it run a 1/8 NPT thread instead of the 1/4 needed, I can run an adapter
But have previously bought the one I need with the 1/4 thread.
I think I'll go to the local repco and dump my problem in their hands ,then jump up & down when they get the wrong one.
Thank you all for your help..

Hi James
The reason I was enquireing here is that I know all the
listings for this sender are wrong .
The 360.005 is listed as a 10-180ohm which when fitted to the Hz the gauge will run backwards.
The Hz gauge reads higher as it gets more of a signal from ground ,which means fitting the360.005
the gauge will read lower as the pressure goes up.
I think Vdo have listed it wrong somewhere many moons ago that is why I was asking here
Thinking that someone else has had the same problem .I have even searched all the threads here & many others.
They all go back to the Vdo data.....

The Hz/GTS sender needs to be around 240-33ohm but is only available in the 1/8npt thread using an adapter is not a problem .

But I have a sender that is 240-10 with a 1/4 thread..
