    HX Sandman Rear Cab Wall

First off, this is not my ute but a picture I found when googling!! The rear wall of my cab has been modified in the same way the one in the picture has been, should I take it back to standard or should I leave it as is. The criteria here are that the vehicle will be a very long term project and when it is finished it won't be going up for sale so I'm not really concerned with the resale value being affected. I can see benefits in leaving it as is and I can also see benefits in returning it to original. What are peoples thoughts on this?

imo if you're not keeping it longterm just leave it. makes for great storage in the cab. the incoming buyer may be after utility and function in addition originality. some mods can be done tastefully to make for a better vehicle ie reel seatbelts rather than sash in HJ for instance

Sorry I may not have been clear, I will be keeping it so I'm not worried about resale value, I just wanted to find out what others thought

Just leave it if it doesn't create a drainage issue.

My only advice is NEVER build a car with the thought you'll never sell it. Plans and circumstances can and will change.

If was a Van you'd have all that space and more - LOL
Leave it, it's fine. Just make it clean and tidy and as factory looking as possible.
