Im guilty of being a total lazy bastard with my trailer.....even though most of the fab work is done. Life and a new business has got in the way of most things.....havent even picked up one of my guitars in at least 3 months.......thats an eternity for me.

how far off is your trailer? I'm trying to power through and see it through to the end without stopping otherwise it will end up like my hx panelvan nothing changed since about march i only bought the ute 2 weeks ago so overall I'm aiming for a 2 and half month build obviously not full time but if any of you guys head up to summernats i should be towing it up there with my tonner

you've gone to a bit more effort then i have with capping your roof i cut the front section off and had a look to see if i could fit it on the rear cut as you have but i did my initial cut back in line with b pillar a little further back than you i found it fell too short and didn't want to stuff around so I've got a fabricator making up all the capping panels i think he is going to fibreglass a round onto the roof section for me

If yours was a ute I'd aleady have grabbed it as a good HZ ute body is worth the asking price!

is that the chrome yellow 6cyl auto with side windows and gts wheels in northern NSW?
i had my eye on it but the bloke obviously couldn't be bothered selling interstate as he never provided any pics of the rust and dents etc as he had said he would. looked reasonable.

Yes but not chrome yellow. It is a good car but has some minor dents, some old hail damage from the 80's and some minor panel rust. If you like a shiny, straight car it needs a full strip and repaint but with far less rust repairs than most. To me its value is in it as a Survivor. It may just fall out of that class, but it would be very close, would depend on how much original paint it still has, looks like a lot is still there though. Turret to quarter seal has lots of dripcheck gone hard and cracked. Has some minor reversing damage on the beaver and one tail-light. Didn't check chassis for cracks.
