Does this panelvan story add up? Good providence - P.Brock related.

This looks to be a Sandman but the providence sounds interesting, especially if your a P.Brock fan.

Well, if it is the real deal, it is certainly a van worth restoring. Two seater and a column auto is certainly different from the norm, but given the job it was designed for is completely understandable.

    Cheers.

Kind of what I thought Robbo, but you know, it's only worth what some one wants to pay for it but yeah, interesting.

L31 M41 was standard as column shift unless the vehicle came standard with console shift (eg Sandman or Caprice or GTS).

It seems to be missing the side hood lining strips for a full lining. Standard HZ Sandman. Not saying it's not a sandman, just something I noticed. Maybe has had a body change?

Your dead right there it is a great yarn, and I was just thinking if there was a way to research the history of it.

It reminds me of one I heard about Peter Brocks A9X. It's long winded but apparently true.
