OMG,that brigs back some memories
If im right (brain not good work) that belongs to Rob V (cant remember surname)
Originally it had a stock front end and when i first met him in 84/85 at Jillys it had a Trans Am eagle on the bonnet and we use to call him Birdman
He lived over Ryde and worked a Bob Jane back then. Last i saw the van was about 93/94 and he had put steel flares all round and a 1 piece gate too i think
lost contact with him for a number of years and he contacted me about 2005 (maybe 2004) and i did keep in contact with him for a few years. He was living at St Clair and his boys had grown and they were starting to hassle him about getting it back on the road
So it still lives to my knowledge!
I'll see if i have a number somewhere for him
had a really cool black suede trim with Tv 2 stereos and 2 cbs
helped him put a chrome diff in it and when we put it on the ground he nearly ran me over (bastard)
i think he bought it new (actually rolled it once)
was a 6 and late 80s / early 90s he finally put an 8 in it
Damn, did a lot of miles in that thing with him - and he drove like a nutter

That's great news.. Wasn't planning to refresh anyone's memories but if you do get in touch with him again, i would LOVE to get some more pics of the van.
Also like to get some interior pics of it.
