What a classic Kingswood, and a 4.2 Litre also! Just had a look at it's listing on carpoint, a real time capsule. Excellent reference vehicle for those restoring these car's. Amazing what come's out of hiding from time to time, they are out there.

just noticed the paint on the inlet manifold, is that factory? a couple of things dont look right, the water bottle on the pasenger side? mine didnt have it?

i was thinking the same thing. Someones played with the motor or something there
The paint around the water pump under the alternator looks strange - as well as the alternator itself

rest of the car looks exactly as you'd expect

the paint looks absolutely correct to me..they werent pristine paint jobs on the motors originally..the water bottle is the radiator overflow bottle and its correct and is in its correct spot.

my hz was a 77 model, was this a later addition the radiator overflow, iam sure my overflow had clips on the side of the rad and ran out on to the ground.
