Been looking for some V2 CV8 seats for my yellow HK GTS for a while. Finally got a a pair today. I've known of this car for years now, smashed and sitting in dark storage since 2007 with less than 40,000kM on it. They need some conditioner but are in great nick. Had to hotwire the passenger's seat to get it to slide back to get to the bolts. I was worried about hitting the airbag wire!

They look pretty good, do you need to mod the rails/mounts much to get them to fit?

Only the front seats, rest will remain standard HK GTS. When you pull the headrests off the seats are low and from outside will look good. If you were to put sheepskin covers on too you wouldn't know they were actually different at first glance. I needed coupe seats with the flip down rear, hard to get these in plain black, they are normally all g@y looking colours. Astra convertible are straight red or black as well, but are a bit small for you or I Gene. I've driven my V2 with the same seats for 500kM straight and get out feeling good. After 5kM on original HK GTS seats you are feeling sore.
The V2 seats also motor forward when you tilt the seat, which is good.

I dont think any H series Holdens seats were comfortable until the later commos maybe
H series are terrible. W series (HQ-WB) are better. WB are probably the best buckets of them.
nice one Byron! Not easy to find mint seats. They are getting older.... I always keep an eye out for a set of GTO V2 black seats as I wouldn't mind a mint spare set for my gto..
