VE would be useless as there is no VE coupe to get seats from for the HK.

I disagree. Drive a HK bucket seat car without reclining mech. Awful.
No different to the ones that are in my LJ GTR they are terrible
I like to stay old school but also like comfort and support from a car seat.... My new 2nd hand LS Recaro seats arrived from Germany today. Was cheaper to buy these than have the leather Recaro's in my Landcruiser re-trimmed... Might re-trim them anyway and fit them in the Sandman......

Isn't that the truth. That's the one part of the trip to qld next month in the LJ I'm not looking forward too. Going to Bathurst was bad enough.
