Looking at getting my exhaust soon trying to keep it all original 308 4 speed , did they come out dual exhaust or only single, size of exhaust pipe would also help and any pictures

I pulled what I beleive was the original off the HZ about 18 months ago.
It's hanging in the shed.
It's a single (and small).
I can have a look later at the size.
Dual may have been optional.

Single only ony commercials. From memory 2" max with an even smaller muffler.

Have a friend who just a bought a low kilometre HQ ute two owners, it has dual exhaust from new if not from factory was dealer fitted upon purchase, I am also undecided when I come to that stage on my HQ Sandman Restoration although I am keeping the original exhaust manifolds

I would like to put dual but keeping it original with exhaust manifolds , so if they only come out with single looks like shes getting a single pipe

You may as well fit duals. Easy change and it won't affect its value. Only for anal judging would you want original single. At least go for a good size single like 2.5"
