As always things are really only worth what YOU are willing to pay for them!!
I always say: " money is worth nothing until you spend it".

Higgs is very expensive but he probably has guys stripping, pays rent, tax and other business related overheads which just adds to the end price.

hahah why would you want ripped seats in your van even at $400? Let the moths free from your wallet and pay the $800 for a set ex east and have a go at fitting yourself!
BQZ
Ill have to put my prices up I usually charge $350 a seat for a full retrim if the carcass is in good nick and not really that much moor if I have to rebuild the frames and foam.
The last set I did I charged the dude $650 for cause they wernt as factory but he abandoned the project and I still have them.
They are black with blue piping and diamond quilting on the inserts. Also did a set of matching door trims with new cards. If anyone is interested Ill post some pics in the forsale
I rarely buy parts off ebay. I can usually find bits I need through people I know, or forums such as this one at a better price. On the same note, I rarely sell stuff on there either, well I rarely sell parts at all lol, but if a mate needs something and I've got it spare or not going to use it I'll usually help them out. It's not all about the money...
Can't help but browse the cars on there though. My mrs doesn't like me at the moment...
I've had too many cars for years lol. If I get rid of one, I always seem to replace it with something else.
I've actually had a fair bit of luck on both ebay and gumtree, lately.
Picking up a set of HQ buckets for $355, the HQ ute for $1500, and 350 motor and T700 box for the same, both guys there had been stuffed around, by morons, who obviously didn't have the money(or a clue what they were buying) so were glad to sell the stuff to me. I am pretty selective though, cause there's heaps of what I reckon is overpriced crap on there, but when I do find something I jump on it.
I'm not much for selling my stuff either, I just thought I might get rid of some of the stuff I know I'll never use, to make room for more good stuff!!
And Amen to the missus hating me at the moment, I just spent half her holiday money on the HQ ute (I reckon it was my half so that should make it OK. Shouldn't it????)
Cheers, Scotty.
That's good buying, mate. Well done
I agree you can get some good buys on there but I seem to have more luck elsewhere. Maybe I'm just not patient enough lol. And getting outbid on stuff 2 secs before it ends got old pretty quick.
That said, my last browse through the cars resulted in me potentially having another car on it's way here if everything goes to plan. Hence the mrs not being overly impressed
I just can't help myself, it's an addiction.
