I read about these recently, possibly in australian muscle car's magazine. They were done in 76 for the motor show and for holden's 50th.
Didn't mention what became of them.

Those decals look awesome!!!!
Hell yeah mate....has anyone got anymore pics?? I guess its the only way i'll end up buying a HX if it looks like that.
I have some photos of the van for the book, mostly black and white though. There were 4 x cars, all in Tuxedo and Sienna trim except the coupe which got LE trim:
HX Van
Bedford
LX SS
HX coupe.
I thought I may have had the van recorded as I have a 2214-65A HX van but it is only a 4.2 manual and most special show cars were all top spec driveline ie L31 M41 or in the Torana's case L31 M40, however the Seawitch appears to have been a 202 3spd so it is possible the van I have recorded is that van. I'm not sure if the HX is a Sandman or not, it does have Lukey mirrors and a Kingswood grille but its headlight surrounds are wrong and so is the bar and chin spolier, so hard to tell.
Would love to see some more pics of that van Byron Has a trans am vibe to it with those decals
I was thinking the same very Trans am. The black and gold. It would be great to own something like that. Maybe we all try to hard to find Sandman's and restore to original as we can. Maybe we have lost sight of the whole custom culture.
I wonder if there is a photo with all four cars together... The SS would look amazing I think.
