Can anyone explain to me how to separate these I need to send the plug away for the harnesses in the engine bay to be rewired can these be separated without damaging them which side comes apart the simplest the left or right side wiring

Cleaning it would be a good start.
there is a bolt in the middle of the left hand side of the harness in that picture, its a 3/8 or 7/16 from memory undo that and they should wiggle apart
