Saginaw 4speed shifter??

Watch American Graffiti at the point where Harrison Ford drag races with the main characters in his rod. You can hear the M22 whining away on the movie.

I walked away from a wb tonner that had a 350 and rock crusher coz the box was so loud i thought it was stuffed!

If the gates on the shifter are not aligned properly you will not get reverse .
To aline up use a tight fitting Allan key and put in the hole with the linkages of the box.
Then put the arm on the box with out force them on .
Spin the arm to the linkage to adjust
Once all 3 are done remove the Allan key
To get reverse you just push hard to the left then forward
If then it doesn't go in spin one of the gearbox shafts a bit to line up the gears inside
