You'll struggle to get the Saginaw and Hurst to fit without a tunnel mod for the shifter. You need a modified stick in either case to gst it back to the tunnel hole.

No problem in a light bodied car. A blown V8 Panelvan with big rubber = good luck!

The shifter bend or spacer is just to centre the stick (above floor level). I wouldn't be using a Saginaw in a full size car with any grunt.
Like James said ,there not a strong box
And you will have to still cut the tunnel to clear the base of the shifter ,even though you can still get the stick in the middle...

Hi guys, was in Sydney on course, picked up the gearbox yesterday. I have been thinking about pulling the Blown engine out and putting in a stroker 308. I'll play with the box bit first. If I decide to move it on I'll let you know. It came with new heavy duty clutch, speedo cable, Dellow bell housing, rear mount and cross member and a plastic inspection cover. Also with complete hurst shifter and linkages. I'll have a play with photobucket later and see if I can load some. Cheers

Looks liks a Speco bracket for the shifter. Bellhousing is Chev or TH pattern 308.
