Original chassis, Original body (rust in sills, cowls, rear window, tray, rear quarters – comes with some panel replacement sections, Original tags (still on body, appear to have never been removed)
Ute runs and drives fine, on dual-fuel although fuel pump is disconnected. Has 308 with Holley, edelbrock manifold, twin exhaust, trimatic (auto box looks very clean so may have been recently reco'd)
Twin Headlight front and GTS guards (no, not original on HX sandman I realise). GTS dash with silver facia and steering wheel look to be original, intact interior all looks to be original (no console tho). Seats are reasonable for age with no major rips etc. door trims have speaker holes. Hurricane mags, I may be able to get some gts rims, not sure at this stage.
This is a resto project for someone who wants a genuine Sandman ute. The body repair is not for the faint-hearted. The 253/trimatic combo is unusual as far as I know. Looking for $5800 ono, no swaps.
