    Holden HX Aquarius Replica

    Hey everyone,
Here is one of my projects. I stumbled across this ute on the way to buy pancakes...haha. It is pretty rough. Has a running 202 blue motor, extractors and trimatic column auto(needs rebuild) - but still dives, everything works and is complete.
I had been looking around for a while, but nothing was in my tight price range. When I heard he was willing to take $400 cash, I couldn't resist.
So plans are Aquarius blue HX Replica budget build. black dash (non GTS) black carpets and chamois seats door trims and headlining? I believe that is the 60A or 60V trim code.
and 202 column shift. (then move on to something bigger once its on the road). No its not going to have all the sandman options as they wont fit into the budget.
    so here it is.

    started on the tub

    The dream! lol

Here are some more pictures of the ute

Couldnt help myself... i told myself not to touch it before my sedan is done. :/ I just needed to have a dig and see how much work is involved. So much easier having stripped a car like this before! Every bolt in a bag and
LABELLED! - I cannot say this enough when it comes to restoring a car.

Good buy mate. Price was right. Nice job on the tub repaint. Have fun with it. Keep the photos coming. I'm hopeless at posting them so it's good to see others doing it.

Can't go wrong with Aquarius and Chamois trim.

Off topic: What happened to JAFT? His van was looking good last time I saw it on here. It definitely showed how good Aquarius can look.

Still about. Just been made redundant with work and getting married so funds have been a bit low to spend on the van..
