HD Premier For Sale

Guys,
My beloved HD Prem has to go. I have owned a lot ( a lot ) of cars and this is the only one I have owned twice!
Original owner was Holden as it was kept as a Managers vehicle, sold to the public in 1966, was owned by them gent until 1999 when he passed away. From there a guy bought it in Darwin, the only thing he had to do to drive it from Adelaide to Darwin was replace the tyres because they were 33 years old.
I bought it off the guy from Darwin, I owned it, loved it, drove it, for a few years, sold it to my best mate and them pestered him to buy it back.
yesterday I bought an XY ute and I don't have the money or the room to keep the HD. Please keep in mind that the HD has been in storage for a few years and the brakes etc. will need attention.
The vehicle has minor rust in the door bottoms, but it still retains original paint and trim.
This car has a factory disc brake front end and also has NASCO accessories also.
Its a very good car that is not perfect, but it is very well priced.
$6000.

Noooo. I don't have a lazy $6000 at the moment. Sell that HK now so I can have HD later

That's a good price too! Too cheap probably. You'll have that sold in no time.

If I didn't have my HJ Premier i'd buy it too.

Can I get ID plate details and chassis number off it, plus the mechanical/driveline spec? Ben Stewart is now recording all GMH product to build up a database for those too. It'll never rival the Monaro one as he has been recording cars for 30 years, but every one helps. HD/HR in this condition from the Dandenong body plant are GOLD as they have a specification code on them (sorta like Acacia Ridge did) and we are working on trying to decipher those at the moment, so if it is a Dandenong body it'd be even more interesting.

I don't think its cheap but I do think its well priced. it will need some work but what a great car, I'm not sure how many HD's got disc brake front ends but there can't be too many.

No worries Byron, I'll send all of the plate details through, its an Adelaide build from memory. Good to hear Ben is recording them all now, big task.
I come across a lot of cars, some people don't like you recording there compliance plates details but i'll try and record a few more from now on.
