    G'day Mick,
Mate, I am getting a "fair dinkum sheds" shed.
12x9m, 3.6m walls, with a 4m garaport of one end.
    Gaz.

Sounds good. I got an oversize double shed for our daily drivers a few years ago. It was about 10x6 and was a Fair Dinkum Shed. No problems with it.

GV7 .... 3.55:1 is an unusual diff ratio for a 308 4sp van .... Performance option, great if you want to do burn outs but will suck for long drives in the country.

going to be a hot looking van when it's finished though...

It doesn't matter how big your shed is, it will always be too small.
    When I built mine (12mx10m) I thought I'd made a mistake.
    I did, it's too small!
Last xmas we built a 12mx3m extension on the back to solve our problem.
It didn't..... I still have 3 cars outside.
My problem is quickly becoming a lack of land, not shed size.
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!

What is the build date on this one? Curious about no arm rests and black fascia.

    Absinth,
Are you still restoring Dash fascia's and dash pads?

Also, why don't the seats have the stripe down the centre?

5/75... Month after mine so should have silver dash fascia. Yes I am still restoring fascias.

Only GTS Monaro and GTS had the stripe down the middle of the seat, Sandman got plain seats.

The majestic vanners have their Van Inn in Albury in the first week of October, the plan is to get the van rego'd and head down.
I'll need to rebuild the engine and brakes blah blah, bog the rust up, chuck a set of tyres on her and hit the road.
it's only around 4000k's return and about 9 weeks away but I'm keen as mustard.
    Gaz.
Does anyone have a HJ steering column for sale, for floor shift?
