Thanks for the encouragement all! Its great to have the Sandman crew pushing me along...even though its a WB!
Alien, good question, i haven't thought about heat in this spot too much, but now you mention it, i guess its right on top of the tunnel with engine, gearbox and blower all just below and in front. Hmm, let me ponder...
On another subject, i know one of my ideas about the fuel fill location got some good debate a couple of years ago and i decided to stick with it. Started mocking up the pipe run today to go from behind the rear tail light to the tank with poly pipe. When its all connected together with the right angles and i work out any places where hose joints might need to be, i will get it fabbed up with 50mm tube and bolt it in.
Couple of initial pics for everyone;

Can i ask what AC compressor you used
Hey outlaw67, sorry i missed this. I'm trying to retain the factory original compressor that came on the efi 304 engine and I've kept it in the low position on drivers side of the engine. Its very tight for room, but will allow me to keep A/C lines low and out of the way which is the goal.
I've been travelling quite a bit lately, but I've got the next 10 days off, so hoping to get more van progress and some further pics.
Cheers
Hey Terry
Couple of pics here showing the factory compressor in place. The advice you have is kind of correct, as it needs some effort to force this in...i'm just being belligerent about insisting it stays in that position
Of note, you definitely need to have a rack and pinion setup as the original box makes it a no go for sure. Then I found that some massaging needs to take place with both the compressor and the factory mounting bracket. One of the compressor mounting bolts and the belt adjuster on the bracket both touch the rubber concertina boot on the rack so i had to cut them down shorter.
To help more, i also decided to lift the engine mounts by ~5mm which helped with the clearance. Hope this helps, cheers

Thanks Damian
Appreciate your time and advice

Well it took a long time, but I eventually selected and purchased a nice Aeroflow throttle body recently and sure enough...more mods needed to make it fit. Fabricator man just dropped by tonight to measure up a new 45 degree bend addition and has taken the intake assembly away again. Got a couple of pics while he was here...

Is the throttle body position directly behind the blower not an option? Guess im a sucker for making it look pretty.....functionality obviously trumps that though.
I'd be suprised if no one has made a blower throttle body & filter kit.
Top progress though
