    Minor update on minor works and wins. Got hold of a pair of demister duct dash bolts...for want of a better description and fitted up my under dash speaker plate. Also picked up the back ordered 'Sandman' decal from Rare Spares for my steering wheel and fitted it. Now back onto the bigger stuff...

    So I finally got the Wilwood front brakes and fitting them up this weekend, did the prework today and throwing them on tomorrow. After these are fitted, the brake line man can come back and finish off all the fluid lines across the whole car (brakes, fuel, transmission lines etc).

    Pics of the kit below (320mm rotors and 4 point calipers).

    Finished installing the Wilwoods today. Everything went smoothly...in fact so smooth that it had two of us rereading the instructions a number of times, as we were convinced we'd forgotten something. But no, the CRS kit installed very nicely. Pics below as usual;

    More CRS parts arriving for install. I've now got an adaptor box for the speedo signal from the 4L60E auto. Looks to be up for the job and instructions seemed simple. Will be looking to mount it next to the engine computer, but it needs to be within 500mm from the speedo.

    I like the updates Damien. Will make it a much better ride.
    Not sure about the branding all over Wilwood products. They should be paying people for the advertising!
    I hear you on the bank account drain...

    Hey guys. Thanks for the notes, its appreciated. Yeah the super dooper brakes were a given, i just spent a bunch of time tossing between Wilwood and Hoppers Stoppers. I'm very happy with the outcome. On other notes, i spent most of yesterday trying to sort out a throttle body but still no luck yet. Might take a break from the panel van this weekend and jump onto the faithful old 1 tonner, as the LPG is running rough and petrol has actually stopped working altogether. More mysteries to solve. Cheers, Damo
