Did anyone notice a white hj sandman replica on ebay the last few months? I seen it get to 22k and then it was relisted twice and just recently listed with no reserve. The last time i seen was about 11k and a hand full of bids. Does anybody know the full story?

look at the darj green v8 HQ ute. initial winning bid was approx $11,500. must have fallen over. then it was relisted at $13,500 buy it now with no interest. now its on for $11,000 buy it now. ebay seems like an absolute waste of time for someone trying to sell a car

Well, If you go on ebay now there is not one Sandman van or a pretend one on there listed, hasn't been for a few days.
I use a search engine. Try this. trovit.com .Then go to Trovit Australia site. Type in whatever car you are looking for. It will bring up all classified adds, ebay, gumtree, autotrader etc.
Ok. So its back on ebay again. Just relisted and again NO RESERVE. Whats goin on? How can u list something for auction with no reserve and not sell. I am confused and somewhat irritated that this can happen.
People bid on their own crap. Using a secondary account, wifes account or have a mate bid on it to drive the price up.
It is usually a "pretend" bid that wins and the transaction doesn't happen. Either that or the winning bidder fails to go through with the sale because they are a dreamer, broke or the car turns out to be a bucket that doesn't match the description or similar.
If you want it, ask the seller what the selling price today is - or make an offer and see if you can come to terms.
