Gday folks. One for the archive. HJ in its original Manderin skin (paint). Numbers matching, no books. Drive as is no problems. No significant mods, original stickers etc. Sold in WA sight unseen to a bloke from NSW for $29,500. No questions asked. Money wired and truck ordered. Unbelievable! I was scheduled to go have a look and get the tag details and he called and told me it was sold. Was ex Vic car. Cross the border and back again 7 years later

HX and HZ may have had flashier stripes but they lost the GTS guards and anti pollution killed their performance.... Quad headlight fronts were done to death in the 80's and 90's, every ute with a dog had one.....

Will always come down to personal preference in many cases. But i'll stick to my guns, no-one wanted HQ's in general years ago now most people want them. HJ's will be the same, or are starting to already. HX and HZ will still have their followers/fans, nothing wrong with that!

for those who appreciate the numbers. it was a $17,000 purchase in 2007 and a $29,500 exit 7 years later... no $$ spent. Had taken a big hit to the front left guard and door at some point looking at the pics and speaking to the owner
