    what did you do with your sandman today

    got the timing light and feeler gauges out. tuned a 173, 253 and 308. Very happy with the results as they were all miles out - all had been set by ear by qualified mechanics :(

    Stripped one of all useable parts as it was so badly rusted, but going to someone who will restore her with a nice new body
    HZ Jasmine Yellow Windowless Sandman, now being driven everywhere and is finished!
    HZ Madeira Red Windowless sandman now Sold to Bigrob
    HX Mandarin Red Sandman Ute finished, and club registered
    1979 HZ malachite windowless van with 308 5spd, all chromed up and shiny finished and named "The Player"

    Have all panels except bonnet and inner guards at Sandblaster ready to be collected , picked up recovered bucket seats and new door trims as well.

    Took my 6 year old to Auskick in it, then down to 13th Beach/Barwon Heads for a surf.

    Sounds like a perfect Sandman day, all Aussie car, sport and pastime. I tinkered with my WB dashboard vents first, but decided i needed to retire to the couch.

    Not the Sandman but we loaded up the HQ van and went to a swap meet,best thing about vans is you don't have to unload them as soon as you get home,they make great cupboards

    Made 40 odd butt weld clamps today....will come in very handy when filling in the side windows on my van
