Sounds like club rego to me. I think its around $200 a year for club rego.
Yes club rego is 90 days a year the price depends on which club you join some cheaper than others
beats paying the normal full rego
Is the 90 day thing unrestricted as in you could drive with your mates instead of the club on weekends and such, as long as you don't go over the 90 days all sweet?
It's 90 days of one year. I don't think it's governed by how many kms you do or where you go....but you have to log the day/date and mileage you do in a log book.

You can travell any where any time just fill out the the log book every day you intend to drive it when your not driving these days dont count simple

You can't have Victorian club rego on a car that is in New South Wales Rob!
Registration is relevant to the state you garage the car (read where you live).
Surely we can get around that somehow.
I know a lot of people from Canberra with NSW registered cars and vice-versa.
