I have a HQ rear bumper in my shed, has anyone seen one of these fitted to back of a Van? What's everyone's thoughts? Thinking wired up and everything.

Yeah seen it done before......its a no from me
Yeah not really for me anymore either. However if you were to go for a full length bumper I would opt for a HQ wagon.
Terrible look but then again full length bumpers dont look good on van and utes
im guilty of doing the full bumper on my van back in 90s but its long gone
Wagon bumper looks good, but the sedan one is just too busy with all the lights.
Some people only like the bumperettes, and if you are doing a restoration then there is no option, but a full bumper finishes the rear off.
Sell the sedan one and buy a wagon one.....
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!
I can't sell the sedan one it's actually of the HQ four door I've got in the shed. I've got a HZ sedan bumper on it now but it doesn't sit right like 90% of them don't. A mate of mine had his shortened and rechromed came up good but very pricey. Has anyone used these repro ones you see on EBay? I mean the factory style ones.
HQ wagon will be wight width. If you are going to shorten one a WB Statesman one actually looks a lot better than a HJ-HZ wagon. They all still look odd though.
