Hi all had a couple of good scores at a swap meet,got a top tailgate with glass and handle and latches for $50 no rust or dents.only thing wrong were the slide brackets converted to struts.a pipe bender set for a 100 and 3 square headlights off a torana which also fit my pacer 5 bucks each. also going to look at a virgin bore hj 308 block,wants 400 for it.so been a pretty good day.
Make sure the block doesn't have any head bolts Broken off in it
wouldn't have thought to look for that are they possible to remove,thanks for the advice.
They are hardened and very hard to remove when they are broken

Good catch on the top gate mate, That is dirt cheap. Its goods to here you can still find bargains at these things
Thanks people,went again today if i had a chev i could have come home with a ute load everyone seems to have chev gear.
