The first nationals was 1982. Previous to that they were called Van-Ins. Many of which were in Mildura, Victoria.
The whole 40 years thing is based on organised national van meets. Apparently Greg still owns "Miss Misty Blues".
Although in vanning stories a thing of legend.
I note that the "Vanners" motel is sold out in the update above. Is there a second vanners motel selected?? Does anybody know if there is and which one it is/will be??

The "Vanners" motel is the motel that is right beside the showground.
Many other motels exist around town, which I'm sure are selling fast and will be full of Vanners.
