I have lived at this address for five years. A little old lady lived in the house over the road when I moved here. She died about two years ago and the property has been vacant since then. The property is a walk back in time with overgrown trees hiding the house. House is a 70 yr old fibro one with no paint left on it. Anyway about six months ago the old ladies nephews came and chopped down all these trees and huge shrubs about 30 m down the side of the house to expose an old fibro garage. I thought hummm didn't know that was there. Then today a tilt tray truck pulls up and drags out an FJ UTE. The nephew is the heir and he told me it will be sold, it's a one owner, been in the shed for 27 years, and there wasn't a speck of rust to be seen. Anyway thought i'd share some pics.Attachment 10702

I wish I knew it was there be fore she died and the nephew turned up. Apparently her husband died at 97yrs and was a plumber hence the ladder racks.

Well, I hope it was in Toowoomba because it took me 5 minutes to get to Dave's house and check it out , lol .

It was a lovely old thing as Dave has said and funny how you know some one for over 20 years but you don't know the stuff that matters ie - that your friends aunt has a fj ute that has been sitting in a shed doing nothing for 27 years

True. Shame it wasn't a Sandman pick up the guys had in that barn. Would have been better than a fanny pack full of dimes.

But that's just being pedantic. We should use more American terms.
