It may not be a Sandman, so be careful before you commit to bulk $. The tags may not belong to the body either, but hard to know once someone has removed them. Look for original Orchid over red primer over black dip.

this has been on my mind all day while at work today so first thing when i got home was straight to the shed

i guess the bloke who got the van repainted wasn't man enough to dive the barbie van

This van's id showed up on Old Holden in 2006, so the previous owner had a fair idea what it was.

Good luck with the resto and without the original engine you are free to put in whatever motor floats your boat.

Nice pick up ,when you get the tags off this time to paint it make sure you get the correct rivets , eBay I think ;they are a bit pricey but it will look correct .

Orchard metallic is such a great colour and really suits the HQ shape.... Nice looking replica that one, Statesman trims on the doors set it off nicely.
