    HQ ute

Had a look at a HQ ute today because the guy said it was a 74 model which pricked up the ears a bit. Anyway get there and its a 3/72 bugger, Quite a tidy ute. What caught my attention was the engine, the guy recons its out of an SLR5000 or A9X. Anyone ?

    ENGINE NUMBER: 308H32269

I've got an engine number close to that. Think it was from a HG originally.

Yep, HT-HG most likely from a Brougham.

Thanks for that, didn't buy the ute anyway to many other projects. But an A9X engine would be cool.

The only A9X engine that would be cool to have is one out of an actual Bathurst race car.... They ran the L34 engines.... All road going A9X ran standard L31 engines.
