N67 spare wheel winch on the bay

I am pretty sure this is the spare wheel winch specific HZ's with N67 (cast alloy) wheels.

They had the different shaped end on the cable to lift the wheel up.

How do you guy's know which model these part's come from? I'm not being a "smart alec", I am just amazed how you can identify the thousand's of part's that make a Sandman. All I know is the winch on the HZ I once owned, made the same racket as the one on the ute I now own.
