"Proud To Be An Old Fart".
my HQ ute has floors like that. funny that something like clean floors can give you such a stiffy with these old girls
the best floors ive seen are on cars where owners have just conceded and pulled the carpets/vinyl up to avoid a Fred Flintstone special
My bro went through two drivers floor pans in 5 years using his van as a daily

Frosty is the only one that has seen it he was impressed
Hopefully i'll catch up with Frosty soon and he can tell me all about it. Sounds like a tuff ride. How did you keep it out of the auto trader and away from the clutches of the Mrs for all those years?

powerglide?
F$%k that. I went 200 in a VL Turbo on a mission to Gnarloo. NEVER again. I thought the wheels were going to peel off and we were going to die. I cant even begin to dream of that in a Kinga. I shit my pants doing 100 on the freeway in any of my bangers!

sorry for the thread steal Mick
All good gene, considering how much dust and crap was under the carpet it's surprising how good this van is,we also pulled the speakers out of the doors and found the inside of the doors full of pine needles but no rust, maybe he just didn't drive it in the rain, for now it's just going to get a nice interior, suspension recon, maybe a set of GTS wheels if I can find a decent set and then just enjoy driving a van again
