Ok, so here goes... I've got QT977467 in my daily driver. If that matches a Sandman, then happy to see it go back home...I can always install the LS that has been on the floor of my garage for a couple of years now...or do an EV upgrade...

I would've thought the "number collectors" could give you a range of numbers to look for, that were in the same time frame & for which plant your car was assembled.

Or just by looking at similar built date HZs from the same plant, you could get an idea what # you are looking for.

I still have QT9545* something (haven't looked at it in years) sitting in a shed, that came out of my 4/78 sandman, I sold in 92. Forever hoping it is found covered in dust in a shed somewhere!

I have asked on this forum but to no avail. I even tried Vicroads but they refused to give me any information on the numbers due to privacy laws. I would be happy with one that is within a Two month range up to June 78.
