Coburg Drive-In

Film Festival Drive-in.

Melbournians, please read the info below and post in this thread to register your attendance. Once I have the list I will forward it to the film festival organisers.

We have the partnership with Village Cinemas to host the screening of our film selection, as part of the festival, we are holding a singular mid-week event at the Coburg Drive-In Theatre.

I am wondering if My Sandman would like to be part of the night, by bringing along a number of classic cars of which we hope to include a back row line up of the Sandman. We would negotiate that these vehicles have free entry on the night and we would also like to host a People’s Choice Award of your classics!!

We have approached Holden to seek sponsorship for this one-off event, as it seems like a perfect fit to have them as sponsor the icon drive-in event particularly at this point in time when the Holden brand name is under public scrutiny.

Wednesday 5.30pm on May 7^th
I would like voting for the People’s Choice of classic car to be complete before the 7pm film and announced at the start of the show.

Sounds great. Do we know what film it is?

I dont have my roster that far in advance but i would certainly be keen in theory.

I don't know what the movie is, but it is a film festival so they would be showing a number of movies I assume.

They are trying to make this a big event with a side event during the week in Prahran.

Anyone else going because it would be good to see a line up of cars.
