    you can heat it up with screen in no problem or even primer the screen and place kit on the screen which gives you a neater seal to edge look

    I used sikaflex on my HQ coupe and it looks messy from the inside rear but the front has covers on it so you cant see it,sikaflex also goes on thicker so your stainless strips sit closer to the windscreen.The rear window of my HQ has never been removed while i have owned it (20 years+) and still didnt leak, i doubt the sikaflex will last that long.

    tried sikaflex not a good finish , tried the bostik butyl tape kit worked a treat i didn't even heat it up using the wires since it was a hot summer day it melted on by itself. bostik also sell something similar in a caulking tube bostik 5614 haven't tried it yet ? but may do the job. you can buy a kit for the windscreen from china or rarespares seems to sell a kit also take your pick.
