Thanks All, I'm still pinching myself.

damn i missed that one it must have been hiding well.good score it looks the same condition and same back windows as mine just different colour.has it got the silver facia on the dash.
Wow man, great find.
Love to see the pics after you've tidied it up a bit. An un-restored van in that condition is so rare! And I agree with Byron, sure there are lots of people who see the heritage of a vehicle as being just as important showing it's factory condition, and the wear on it since, it is so much more original, and others prefer a full restore, but I reckon it's the owners decision. (Full restore expensive though too.) Probably worth spending any money on basic mechanicals first, (brakes, front end). I wonder how the paint would look with a very gentle full wax, and what the best product is for paint of that age. (Gotta be careful of those decals I spose). But wow!
You know, also (just looking at the pics again), you are probably aware of this, but just in case you aren't, one of the best and cheapest products for cleaning up an engine like that is straight diesel fuel, brushed on, gently from a jar, and hosed/ bucket rinsed off afterwards and then a soap rinse to remove the greasy film the diesel leaves - cheaper and less harsh than most degreasers but you dont leave it on for more than five mins or so. - (try not to flick the diesel on to the paint work in the engine bay of course, but it shouldnt really hurt it anyway, the mudgard shrouds in my HJ are orig paint and have had plenty of deisel splashed on em, no sign of paint deterioration, but on a car like that, I'm tentative to give advice... somebody else here may know better.) Just a thought. Great looking machine!
